A New Guide Map for Karuizawa, a Town where all Cultures Intersect
If areas can be reframed through the filter of people who enjoy the outdoors, the usual scenery could change completely. This would bring the local culture into relief through the lens of activities and reveal the culture, history, and local people in a whole new context. OUTSIDERS, a collaboration between Danner and PAPERSKY, is a project in which we visit a different place for each episode, traveling from the perspective of people who enjoy outdoor activities, in order to produce an original guide map.
