Shizuoka prefecture will be the destination for the Autumn edition of Papersky’s Tour de Nippon. Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, and Suruga Bay, the deepest bay in Japan, the first day program of the event (fishing + special dinner), which was scheduled to be held on 9/24(sat.), but postponed due to a typhoon, will be held on 11/6(sun.) We have now started accepting applications for participation!

The event will take place on 11/6 (sat.) Papersky’s Tour de Nippon project is about finding the magic of Japan’s rural districts, their inhabitants, nature, culture and food. Each ride travels to various prefectures to ride bicycles, eat local food and meet the ‘real’ people of the area. This upcoming tour will take us through Yaizu in Shizuoka prefecture.

*Sea fishing experience in Suruga Bay with popular fishing instructor Ai Miura.
*Special dinner featuring fresh seafood and local cuisine from Yaizu, including fish caughtby everyone.

at 12:00 noon in front of JR Yaizu Station meet by the Foot-bath (1-1-1 Sakae-cho, Yaizu City)

COST for 11/6(Sun.):
Participation fee: 20,000 yen（18,000 yen for residents of Shizuoka Prefecture)
Included in the fee: Fishing experience (fishing equipment rental, guide), (in case of stormy weather: bonito straw grilling and fish handling and cleaning experience *Subject to change), dinner, refreshments, support car (luggage delivery available), special commemorative items for participants.
*The Tour de Nippon office will provide an accident insurance policy (event recreation participant policy).

*If you would like to participate it’s necessary to sign up in advance and while spots are available.
*The cost of the Papersky’s Tour de Nippon does NOT INCLUDE TRANSPORTATION (flights, cars, trains, ferries) from the participant’s house to the starting point and from the finish point back to the participant’s house. All transportation must be self-booked.
