She’s originated a new rock called the ‘Plastiglomerate’ which via a special melting process allows her to combine various plastic waste to create a diamond of modern culture. Each of her ‘original artificial stones’ is carefully documented via an explanation of the pre-found plastic materials B.C. (before creation) as well as a description of the location they were originally gathered from.
Besides selling fresh rocks Honda is a gifted jewelry designer and frequently turns her artistic gems into wearable artifacts.

Sae Honda
Born in Chiba; is currently a Jewelery artist living in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. After graduating from Musashino Art University (2010), she studied at the Herit Riedveld Academy in Amsterdam). Several works of EVERYBODY NEEDS ROCK are in the Rijksmuseum and Stedelijk Museum.
