The Tokyo Tree Trek is a 60-kilometer urban trail created by Papersky to reveal the city’s living green heritage. Shaped by decades of exploring Tokyo’s culture, nature, and neighborhoods—and guided by conversations with hikers, cyclists, and local naturalists—the route spirals from historic Shinagawa-juku to the Imperial Palace, linking many of the metropolis’s oldest and most characterful trees.
Equally rewarding on foot or by bike, the TTT can be experienced in a single push or savored over several days, allowing time to enjoy gardens, shrines, quiet backstreets, and the small gastronomic discoveries that make Tokyo endlessly surprising.
The Tokyo Tree Trek invites travelers to see the city through a greener lens—grounded, connected, and gently transformed by nature.
