Completed doctoral program of the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts. He has traveled and exhibited his work in all sorts of places, from the remote to the urban. He received the Ken Domon Award for &#8220;CORONA&#8221; (Seidosha) in 2010 and the Writer&#8217;s Prize of the Photographic Society of Japan Award for &#8220;Marebito&#8221; (Shogakukan) and &#8220;EVEREST&#8221; (CCC Media House) in 2020. These virgin forests have been carefully passed down by the indigenous Maori as their sacred lands. &#8220;THE VOID,&#8221; a collection of Naoki Ishikawa&#8217;s work published by Knee High Media in 2005. The book was the starting point for his career as a photographer. We hope that this exhibition provides a chance to revisit what it means to live in harmony with nature, through the forests cherished and preserved by the Maori which he captured in the images that make up &#8220;THE
