Located within the national park, Lake Nukabira has been open to bicycles since last season, allowing cyclists to glide atop the icy surface of the lake. We've come in search of a Showa-era relic, the Taushubetsu River Bridge, and angling for wakasagi! Having mounted our bikes with extra-thick spiked tires, we headed out to the frozen lake.
